The museum exhibition in the building constructed in 1906 presents parts of the archaeological, ethnological, cultural-historical and art collections. The museum exhibits from the surroundings of Knja\u017eevac are organized chronologically and thematically with the objective to illustrate life in these parts from prehistory to present days. The house is a cultural monument, built in 1910, and is at Njego\u0161eva 5 Street, with a permanent exhibition which is a reconstruction of a town house interior from the end of 19th and the beginning of 20th century. The archaeological part of the park includes a research station with archaeological exhibition, conservation laboratory and dormitory, located in the school building from the beginning of 20<sup>th<\/sup> century, the lapidarium with Roman epigraphic monuments from the nearby archaeological site Timacum Minus. A part of the Ethno Park are objects of traditional architecture as typical examples of traditional architecture of the Knja\u017eevac region (residential objects, the barn, a cauldron for brandy\u2026) a facility with a conference hall, a souvenir shop, a caf\u00e9 and accommodation rooms and also a pottery workshop with a replica of an ancient and a traditional oven for pottery. In the cellar of the \u201cBig House\u201d from Gornja Kamenica, a Wine Museum has been founded, and the entire complex is a part of the Wine Routes of Serbia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity my-5 is-style-zmk-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-lg-6\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Address<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Village Ravna<br>9km from Knja\u017eevac<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to reach us?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Archaeo-Ethno Park in Ravna is located 9 km from Knja\u017eevac, at the entrance to the village. One can reach the Archaeo-Ethno Park on foot, by bicycle or some other means of transport. In case you come by bicycle or another means of transport from Knja\u017eevac in the direction of Zaje\u010dar you can use two roads: trunk road 35 and the local road that goes from Knja\u017eevac through the villages of \u0160tipina, Potrkanje and Ravna to Debelica. In case you decide to use the trunk road 35 towards Zaje\u010dar, you turn left or right if you are coming from Zaje\u010dar at the place marked with sign Timacum Minus and, along a local road, after 2 km you will reach the parking lot in front of the Archaeo-Ethno Park which is on the left side of the road. In case you decide to take the local road via \u0160tipina and Potrkanje, you will enjoy the beauty of the fertile valley of the Beli Timok, go past the Church of the Holy Virgin by Branislav Mitrovi\u0107 in village \u0160tipina or past the Jovi\u0107 Winery, the producer of premium wines in village Potrkanje. Close to the museum there is an organized and arranged parking lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Parking lot<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Archaeo-Ethno Park has an organized parking lot next to the museum complex. All passenger vehicles and buses can be parked here. The site is situated next to the village of Ravna, on the bank of the Timok River. The fortification and the accompanying settlement date from the 1<sup>st<\/sup> century A.D. and were in use until the Justinian\u2019s renewal of the empire in the 6<sup>th<\/sup> century. The interior space of the fortification was filled with various buildings (granary \u2013 horreum, headquarters building \u2013 principia\u2026). The civil settlement (vicus) developed next to the military camp. In the vicinity of the fortification, on the slope of the Slog hill, a big necropolis was discovered with numerous and various findings and grave goods (jewelry, ceramic and glass vessels, coins, etc.) On the bank of the Beli Timok, about a hundred meters away from the fortification, a Roman bath (thermae) was discovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity my-5 is-style-zmk-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-lg-6\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Address<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Village Ravna<br>8km from Knja\u017eevac<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to reach us?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Archaeological site Timacum Minus is 8 km away from Knja\u017eevac in front of village Ravna. One can reach Timacum Minus on foot, by bicycle or some other means of transport. In case you come by bicycle or another means of transport from Knja\u017eevac in the direction of Zaje\u010dar you can use two roads: trunk road 35 and the local road that goes from Knja\u017eevac through the villages of \u0160tipina, Potrkanje and Ravna to Debelica. The yard of the facility in Karadjordjeva 15 has been arranged and in order to facilitate access and moving towards the exhibition spaces, a ramp has been placed in the gallery of the museum in in Karadjordjeva 15 Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is possible to install the assembling ramps in one part of the Homeland Museum of Knja\u017eevac in Karadjordjeva 15 and certain facilities in the Archaeo \u2013 Ethno Park in Ravna by prior arrangement. The lower floor of the Town Museum in the House of Aca Stanojevi\u0107 will be accessible to persons with disabilities after the opening of the new exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An application for smart devices has been made \u2013 A guide through the museum, which makes it possible to view parts of exhibitions and collections unavailable to persons with limited mobility. In certain locations there are monitors with touchscreens with electronic guides installed and a virtual walk through the museum. There are guides in Braille, a video guide in sign language and audio guide in Serbian and English.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Homeland Museum of Knja\u017eevac has a special internet presentation for people with disabilities <a href=\"http:\/\/acc.muzejknjazevac.org.rs\/\">http:\/\/acc.muzejknjazevac.org.rs\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through the project named &#8220;A Mobile Museum \u2013 a Museum for All&#8221; it is possible to organize a visit of experts from the museum to educational or social care institutions and in that way make the beneficiaries familiar with parts of the rich museum collections. The expert associate services of the museum organize these and other programs for persons with disabilities on request and on the basis of previous consultations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For visitors with impaired vision there is an audio guide in Serbian and English and a printed guide in Braille, but due to the structure of the space and physical barriers, it is necessary to plan the visits with a companion. It is possible to touch certain items and replicas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The information boards and texts at the exhibitions of the museum in Karadjordjeva 15 are printed enlarged, and there are magnifying glasses and foils that make the viewing of smaller items easier. There is a number of information boards printed in Braille.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For visitors with impaired hearing there is a video guide in sign language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For visitors with reduced mobility there are virtual guides on tablets which enable the browsing of the parts of the museum exhibitions inaccessible to persons with reduced mobility.
